Purchases, Services & Resolutions

Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.

Most Content Cribs offerings involve custom work, reserved professional time, immediate digital access or products prepared for a specific customer. This Policy explains when purchases are final, when a replacement or correction is available, and how we review genuine problems fairly.

Effective July 27, 2026 Last Updated July 27, 2026 Strict but Fair

Core policy: custom work, reserved time, digital access and completed milestones are generally non-refundable. Physical products are not returnable for a simple change of mind unless an offer expressly says otherwise. If Content Cribs makes an error, or a product arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what was ordered, we will review the matter and provide an appropriate correction, repair, replacement, credit or refund where required.

Section 01

Policy Overview

Content Cribs provides a mix of custom services, consulting, design, media, marketing, technology, educational offerings, events, memberships, digital products and physical goods. Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, the work already performed, the resources committed and the terms shown when the purchase was made.

We maintain a firm refund policy because many offerings require immediate preparation, strategy, scheduling, labor, vendor costs, creative work, account setup, media buying, digital access or custom production that cannot be recovered or resold.

At the same time, Content Cribs intends to handle legitimate problems fairly. If we make a material error or a physical product arrives damaged or defective, we will review the facts and make commercially reasonable efforts to correct the problem.

Custom Services

Final Once Work Begins

Payments become non-refundable when planning, production, research, setup, scheduling or other work begins.

Physical Goods

Defects and Damage Covered

Eligible shipping damage, defects and incorrect items will be addressed through repair, replacement or another appropriate remedy.

Digital Access

Generally Final

Downloads, templates and accessible course materials are generally non-refundable after delivery or access.

Genuine Issues

Reviewed Individually

We review documented concerns case by case and aim for a reasonable resolution without waiving this Policy.

Section 02

Offer-Specific Terms Control

A proposal, statement of work, contract, order page, checkout page, invoice, event registration, course offer or other written agreement may include terms specific to that purchase.

If those specific terms differ from this general Policy, the specific written terms control for that offering. By completing the purchase, paying an invoice, authorizing work or signing an agreement, you accept the applicable refund, cancellation and payment terms.

Section 03

Custom Work and Professional Services

Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, payments for custom work are non-refundable once work has begun. “Work has begun” includes any meaningful performance or commitment of resources, even if a final deliverable has not yet been completed.

Custom work may include:

  • Consulting, strategy, research and planning.
  • Property concepts, room plans and design services.
  • Buildout planning, sourcing and project coordination.
  • Website, software, automation and AI implementation.
  • Branding, graphic design and creative development.
  • Marketing strategy, advertising and campaign setup.
  • Photography, videography, editing and content production.
  • Media planning, interviews, tours and productions.
  • Course, workshop or custom training development.
  • Custom products, packages, equipment bundles and procurement.

Work may be considered started when we:

  • Hold a kickoff or strategy meeting.
  • Perform research, planning or discovery.
  • Reserve staff, production time or calendar availability.
  • Create drafts, designs, code, copy, concepts or deliverables.
  • Configure accounts, tools, campaigns or systems.
  • Purchase media, materials, licenses, products or third-party services.
  • Coordinate vendors, professionals or property access.

A customer’s change of mind, business direction, funding, personnel, schedule, preferences or decision not to use completed work does not create a right to a refund.

Section 04

Deposits, Retainers and Reservation Payments

Deposits, retainers and reservation payments compensate Content Cribs for holding time, declining other work, initiating planning and committing personnel or resources. Unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise, they are non-refundable once accepted.

A deposit is not necessarily the maximum amount owed for work performed, expenses incurred, non-cancelable commitments or services completed before cancellation.

If Content Cribs is unable or unwilling to provide the agreed service for reasons not caused by the customer, we will determine the appropriate treatment of the payment based on work performed, expenses incurred, alternative performance and applicable law.

Section 05

Milestones, Reviews and Customer Approval

Custom projects may be divided into milestones, phases, drafts, proofs, revisions or approvals. Customers are responsible for reviewing work promptly and providing clear, consolidated feedback.

A milestone is considered accepted when any of the following occurs:

  • The customer approves it in writing or through the project system.
  • The customer directs Content Cribs to proceed to the next phase.
  • The customer publishes, uses, launches, distributes or benefits from the work.
  • The customer fails to identify a material issue within the review period stated in the agreement.

Approved or accepted milestones are final and non-refundable. Later preference changes, new decision-makers or revised business goals may require additional paid work.

Content Cribs will address documented errors that materially fail to match the agreed scope, subject to the revision limits, acceptance terms and remedies in the applicable agreement.

Section 06

Scope Changes, Customer Delays and Abandoned Projects

Requests outside the agreed scope are not grounds for a refund. They may require a change order, revised schedule or additional fee.

Customer delays—including missing content, approvals, access, credentials, payments, feedback, property availability or required decisions—do not create a right to a refund.

If a customer pauses or abandons a project, amounts already paid remain non-refundable. Content Cribs may invoice for completed work, committed expenses and other amounts due under the agreement. Restarting an inactive project may require a new schedule and fee.

Section 07

Digital Products, Downloads and Academy Offerings

Digital downloads, templates, blueprints, prompts, guides, recorded courses, software access and other immediately available digital materials are generally non-refundable after delivery, download, login access or access to protected content.

Live Academy programs, coaching, workshops and cohort-based education are governed by the terms shown in the offer or enrollment agreement. Unless stated otherwise, payments become non-refundable when:

  • Access to course materials is provided.
  • A live session or program begins.
  • Scheduling, onboarding or customized preparation begins.
  • A reserved seat prevents another participant from enrolling.

Lack of participation, failure to complete a program, scheduling conflicts, dissatisfaction with personal results or failure to implement the material does not create a right to a refund.

If a digital product cannot be accessed because of a verified technical issue within our control, we will first attempt to restore access or provide a replacement delivery method.

Section 08

Memberships and Recurring Subscriptions

You may cancel an eligible recurring membership or subscription using the cancellation method disclosed at enrollment or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals after it is properly processed.

Except where required by law or expressly stated in the offer:

  • Fees already charged are non-refundable.
  • Partial billing periods are not prorated.
  • Failure to use the service does not create refund eligibility.
  • Access may continue through the end of the paid term.

You are responsible for canceling before the next renewal date. We will provide renewal and cancellation disclosures required by applicable law.

Section 09

Events, Appointments, Tours and Reserved Sessions

Event tickets, tours, appointments, consultations, production dates and reserved sessions may be non-refundable because capacity, personnel and property access are held specifically for the purchaser.

Any cancellation deadline, transfer option, rescheduling fee or event credit will be disclosed in the offer or confirmation. Failure to attend, late arrival or inability to travel does not create a right to a refund.

If Content Cribs cancels an event or session and does not provide a reasonable replacement date, transfer, credit or substitute performance, we will provide the remedy stated in the applicable event terms or required by law.

Section 10

Physical Products

Unless a product page or checkout term expressly provides a return window, physical products are sold as final sale and are not returnable or refundable because of buyer’s remorse, preference, fit, compatibility, color expectations, changed circumstances or failure to read the product description.

Customers should review product descriptions, dimensions, compatibility, specifications, estimated delivery and included components before purchasing.

Physical products may be eligible for assistance when they:

  • Arrive damaged in shipping.
  • Contain a verified manufacturing defect.
  • Are materially different from the item ordered.
  • Are the wrong item because of a Content Cribs fulfillment error.
  • Are covered by an express manufacturer warranty.

Cosmetic variations, normal manufacturing tolerances, expected wear, improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, accident, neglect or damage after delivery are not defects.

Section 11

Shipping Damage and Manufacturing Defects

Inspect physical products promptly after delivery. To preserve eligibility for a shipping-damage or defect claim, contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery, unless a longer period is required by law or provided by an applicable manufacturer warranty.

Please provide:

  • Your name and order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Clear photographs or video of the product and damage.
  • Photographs of the shipping box, label and internal packaging.
  • Any other information reasonably needed for the carrier or manufacturer claim.

Do not discard the product, packaging or shipping materials until we confirm that they are no longer needed.

For a validated shipping-damage claim, Content Cribs will ordinarily arrange a replacement or another commercially reasonable remedy. We may require return of the damaged item using instructions or a shipping method we provide.

Manufacturer defects may be handled through repair, replacement, parts, technical support or the manufacturer’s warranty process, depending on the product and available remedy.

Section 12

Content Cribs Errors

If Content Cribs ships the wrong item, omits a paid component or makes another verified fulfillment error, notify us promptly.

We will determine the appropriate correction, which may include:

  • Shipping the correct product or missing component.
  • Repairing or replacing an eligible item.
  • Correcting custom work within the agreed scope.
  • Providing a reasonable service credit.
  • Issuing a partial or full refund when required or when no reasonable correction is available.

Content Cribs must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect, verify and correct an alleged error before a refund or third-party remedy is pursued.

Section 13

Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, the following are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom, personalized, configured or made-to-order products.
  • Custom services after work begins.
  • Deposits, retainers and reserved production time.
  • Approved project milestones and accepted deliverables.
  • Digital downloads and accessible digital content.
  • Opened, installed, used, altered or damaged physical products.
  • Products missing original parts, packaging or documentation.
  • Clearance, final-sale or specially identified items.
  • Gift cards, credits and promotional value, except where required by law.
  • Third-party, advertising, permit, license, travel, shipping or vendor charges already incurred.
  • Services affected by customer delay, noncooperation or change of direction.

Section 14

How to Request Assistance

Submit requests through the Content Cribs Contact page as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.

Include:

  • Your full name, email address and telephone number.
  • The order number, invoice number or project name.
  • The purchase or payment date.
  • A clear description of the requested resolution.
  • Relevant photographs, video, screenshots, messages or documents.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. We may request additional documentation, inspect the product or work, consult a carrier or manufacturer, or review the applicable agreement before determining eligibility.

Products returned without prior written authorization may be refused, returned to the sender or held at the customer’s expense.

Section 15

Available Resolutions and Case-by-Case Review

When a request is eligible, Content Cribs may choose an appropriate remedy based on the circumstances, applicable law and the nature of the product or service.

Possible remedies include:

  • Correction or completion of the work.
  • Technical support or restored access.
  • Repair, replacement or replacement parts.
  • Rescheduling or transfer.
  • Service, Store or account credit.
  • Partial refund.
  • Full refund when required by law or approved as the appropriate final remedy.

Refunds are reviewed case by case and are not automatic. A courtesy credit, replacement, exception or accommodation does not waive this Policy, create a continuing obligation or establish eligibility for another customer or transaction.

Our goal is to protect the substantial custom work and resources invested in each project while addressing genuine errors and damaged goods in a commercially reasonable and fair manner.

Section 16

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Contact Content Cribs before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Initiating a chargeback does not cancel a valid contract or erase amounts properly owed. We may provide the payment provider with the applicable agreement, approvals, delivery records, account access, communications, work product and other evidence.

Fraudulent, abusive or knowingly false chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension of accounts, services or access.
  • Cancellation of pending orders or work.
  • Recovery of unpaid balances, chargeback fees and collection costs where legally permitted.
  • Refusal of future transactions.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising a lawful billing-dispute right.

Section 17

Legal Rights and Required Exceptions

This Policy does not limit any refund, cancellation, warranty, shipping or other right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Certain transactions may be subject to statutory cancellation periods or other requirements based on where and how the sale was made. For example, some qualifying sales made at a consumer’s home or another location away from the seller’s ordinary place of business may carry cancellation rights under applicable law.

If a physical order is not shipped and no legally compliant delay option or substitute is accepted, any required refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

The conspicuous policy shown at the time of sale, any written agreement and applicable non-waivable law collectively determine your rights.

Section 18

Changes to This Policy

Content Cribs may update this Policy as products, services, vendors, laws or business practices change. The “Last Updated” date identifies the most recent revision.

The policy in effect when a purchase is made generally applies to that purchase, together with the offer-specific terms and any signed agreement, unless a later change is required by law or accepted by the parties.
